 Here is his latest email.

Hello everyone how are yall doing? This last week has been a great week. Today(Saturday) is now my pday because of what I am now doing. But here is my week.

Monday- We had pday and we just played a lot of pool and it was fun. Then we went and tried to see some people but we weren't able to see anyone.

Tuesday- We had the Transfer Meeting and that is where i got my new comp. His name is Elder Cloward and is from SLC and me and my comp are in something BRAND NEW to the Mission. We and 4 other Missionaries are in what is called the Online Proselyting Center and we are the FIRST MISSION in the world to be doing this. So pretty much what we do is we are on Facebook all day everyday. So we help the missionaries that are in the zones that we cover. We help them with anything that they need help with regarding online work if they can't get to it. Since they are not on facebook all day but we are so that is what we do in a nut shell. I am SUPER EXCITED about this. PIONEERS!!!!!

Wednesday- we had district meeting and then we went shopping and yeah, nothing must happened.

Thursday- Is when we started working on facebook. Our apartment happens to have WiFi in our apartment so we did Facebook there since it was raining and lightning and thundering outside. We didn't go out to the church were our "office" is. Then when it cleared up we went to the church and set up the computers that we are using.

Friday- Did Facebook all day. Nothing really happened. We just also have alot of laughs together.

Today- Pday. Since Saturday isnt the best time for Facebook then the mission president made our pday Saturday since it is the least productive time on Facebook since everyone is off work and is with their family.

I love yall so much and i hope yall have a great week.

Love,

Elder Simonson

Hey everyone how are ya'll doing? I am doing great and this week was a good week since it was the first week of the new transfer, but here is my week last week.

Monday- I got all of my packing done and then we finished up cleaning up our apartment and then really nothing much but it was fun.

Tuesday- We had our transfer meeting and me and my companion that I had in Lakeland are staying together and we got a third and we are now in Riverview. If you want to send me anything here is my address 10062 Alafia Preserve Ave. 162-101 Riverview, FL 33578

Wednesday- we just went and tried to see some people but nothing really happened. Just did a bit of biking and we went to mutual and I had a great time with the youth and got a friend that night so that was good.

Thursday- We went and did service for a member Bro Perry and we helped him wash his fifth wheel trailer. It is about 38 feet long it is a 3 axle toy hauler We had a blast cleaning it.Then we tried to see some other people but nothing happened the rest of the day.

Friday- We had our Zone Conference and it was good. Learned a lot and then again nothing really much happened the rest of the day.

Saturday- we had a mission conference with Elder Erich w Kopischke of the seventy. It was really good and then we went and tried to see some people but nothing happened and the we went to the Adult session of Stake Conference and that was really good.

Sunday- It was our Sunday session of stake conference and they did something that they have never done before. They broadcast it to the stakes in Florida, Georgia, and other that i cant remember. it was interesting and then we stayed home because elder Hill wasn't feeling good but then we went and had dinner with the Machado family and that was really good.

Today- we are really doing nothing just going to go play some pool and then get our bikes ready for next p-day because we are most likely going mountain biking again with Bro Machado and that will be a blast.

I hope that all is well and I hope that ya'll have a great week.

Love,

Elder Josh Simonson

Update about Josh

Hello everyone. I am doing great and i had a good week this last week. I hope that yall are having a great Christmas season so far and are enjoying the weather where ever you are. Here is my last week.

Monday- We played some b-ball and recorded us singing some Christmas Hymns and of course some of you have seen it. But it was a blast doing that. Then we went and taught one of our new investigators TJ. He is a great guy and he is planning on playing for the Gators after he is done with high school.

Tuesday- we went and saw some L.A.s and tried to see some other people but they weren't home but we still had a great time going out and serving the Lord as always.

Wednesday- We had District meeting as always and it was good. I learned a lot from it. Then we went and had lunch at a place called Moes. It is like a Cafe Rio but it is nowhere close to as good as Cafe Rio is. Then we went and biked around all day and tried to see some people but they weren't home and some of the appointments that we had cancelled but we still had a good time.

Thursday- We planned out for our next week and then we tried to go and see some people but they weren't home and to be honest i cant remember anything else that happened this day.

Friday- Just went out and worked the whole day and tried to see the people that we had planned to go see.

Saturday- we just kind of took it easy because I wasn't feeling good at all and so we just took it easy. We still went out and worked the whole day just didn't do anything crazy.

Sunday- We went to Church of course and then we came home and cooked what I called Throwup, haha. Now it wasn't throw up just looked like throw up. It was eggs, ham, cheese, hash browns, and french toast. It was amazingly good and I would love to have it again but the rest of the elders in our place don't want to haha. I ended up have 2 full bowls of it while everyone else only had one haha. Then we went out and tried to see some people that we had planned to go and see but they weren't home or were just busy and couldn't meet.

Yesterday- We had our Mission Christmas Party at Fort Desoto Beach and it was a blast!! I will be sending some pics after this email to all of yall. We did a lot of fun stuff like played some football on the beach and some other fun stuff. It was amazing. I love the beach.

And just another thing just so yall know, we have a baptism on Jan 18!!! Her name is Tammy Klipple and they just moved down about a couple of weeks ago or so and the rest of her family are members. Her husband joined back in 09 and 2 of her kids were baptized back in Jan of this year. So when we invited her to be baptized on Jan 18 she was so excited because that is 1 day away from her 2 kids baptism so that is freaking awesome that that will be happening for her.

New update and photos

Hello Everyone!!!!

My week was great. There will be pics at the end of this email. Here is how my week was this last week.

Tuesday- We went and hit the mountain bike trails and IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!!!!!! I had so much fun and i lead the way since no one else wanted to and so i did. There were some crazy trails but i had a blast and we are thinking of doing it again next week. Now just biking around seems boring lol. But after we went and biked to see if some people were home but they weren't.

Wednesday- We had district meeting and it was good. I learned a lot of course and just had a great time. Then we got the car and we went to some of the appointments we had that day and when we got there they weren't home and so we just ended up just doing some L.A. work.

Thursday- We had Interviews. It was good and President Cusick told me that I am doing great and to keep up thee great work. I was so happy to hear that and he gave me some pointers to help me continue on the right path so that has helped so far. Then we had some more appointments cancel on us and ended up doing some more L.A. work and we are pretty much done with it so we are running out of things to do and pretty much all of our gators are not progressing at all since we can never meet up with them.

Friday- We went and saw some appointments and we had some great lessons with them and the spirit was strong on some of them. But of course I felt the spirit with all of our lessons.  Then just finished the L.A. work that we had and that was pretty much it.

Saturday- We went and had a lesson with the Bell family. They are doing great and we taught them Lesson 2 and it was great. Then we went and had Lunch with a member at a pizza place and it was good but not as good as Little Caesars. Then went and tried to see some more people before we went to dinner. Our dinner was SO GOOD!!!! If you guys remember me talking about Bro Livezey from my last area, well he took me and my comp out to dinner and we went to TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we went and tried so see a family that we had a appt with but they weren't home at the time the appointment was.

Yesterday- We had church of course and we went and had some lessons with the active members and we taught them about Hastening the Work. After we showed them some videos we read a General Conference talk that is called " Hastening the Lords Game Plan." We both felt it went hand and hand with Hastening the work of salvation. Then we went and had dinner with a part member family and it was really good. Then we read from the Book of Mormon with them and read 3 Nephi 11. They seemed to like it and we got them to commit them to pray as a family.

Today- P-day and we are just planning to play some b-ball and some other things.

Now for the part you have all been waiting for.............................................................. are you sure your ready? ................................... PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
